Why can't I see my Authy application on remote connections?

2FA has become a de facto standard to protect your accounts from fraudsters, even when your password has been compromised. As a security method, it is of paramount importance that we protect your application from any third party from accessing your 2FA tokens.

For the reason above, from Authy Desktop version 2.2.3 we have added security features to prevent third party applications from accessing the Authy screen. You will not be able to take screenshots of the Authy application, share it in share mode of applications like Zoom or Teams, nor in remote desktop environments.

Please be aware that this is expected behavior intended for security purposes and it’s not possible to get around it. You need to access your Authy application directly to see its content.
